The sculpture evokes a being that one is not actually supposed to see—something that eludes the gaze until it suddenly appears. A persistent remnant of closeness. It refers to the pubic louse, a hidden bodily guest that lives only where intimacy occurs: in the space between skin and hair, as a silent hint of encounter and contact.

Through its oversized form, what is otherwise hidden becomes visible. The unglazed surface feels dry like skin, and yet the creature possesses a quiet dignity. It sheds its stigma and appears as a body that simply is—born of closeness and touch.
