The durational performance “Mother2Mother” unfolds coinciding with the screening of the animation film “Mami Got Things To Do”.

The film has a beginning and an end, and I am interested in the moment when the film is over. And because the mother has a very ambivalent character in the film, she can't exist just once, but twice. So there are my mothers. My mothers now meet every year. The two figures, each a mirror of the other, inhabit the space with an aura of mystery and shared history.

This poignant yet surreal mirroring delves into the intricate layers of an individual’s persona, dealing with questions of selfhood, uniqueness, and the uncanny sensation of encountering oneself. The dialogue between the film’s narrative and the tangible presence of the two identical figures highlights the way each autobiography blends fact and fiction.
